Welcome to LENS
The Laboratory of Electron Nanoscopies (LENS) belongs to the group MIND (Micro-nanotechnologies and Nanoscopies for Electrophotonic Devices) of the Department of Electronics and Biomedical Engineering of the Physics Faculty at the University of Barcelona.
MIND is also member of the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (IN2UB). The members of LENS are specialists in the characterization of structure and chemistry of materials at the nanoscale by Transmission Electron Microscopy techniques.
Most of the work is carried out using the equipment of the Science and Technical Services of the University of Barcelona, where the TEM facilities are located. LENS is a dynamic and highly motivated research group open to establish new collaborations in the field of the characterisation of nanostructured materials and the correlation of their fundamental properties with the performance as functional devices
